W​hat We Do

Still Standing  Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit headquartered in Nashville TN. We believe it’s our responsibility to Mentor the youth and enrich our community, teaching young people how to be independent, confident, and accountable; while promoting positive self-image, and self-esteem. We work with youth from all walks of life, we are dedicated to helping provide a positive path for at risk youth; working with Juvenile Court, and going into Juvenile behavioral centers mentoring youth offenders.  Our mentoring style is a real life approach we bringing out speaker's who were once  troubled youth and (or) spent time in prison, and now have changed their lives. We know that it's important for all youth to have education, life skills, mentors and hope. Some of the programs we offer our college prep/tours, tutoring, job training & interviewing 101, finance, and  teen pregnancy prevention. 

In addition,  we work with adult offender helping men & women reclaim their lives and get on the right path. Everyone deserves a second chance and we meet people where they are. We go into the jails/prisons and work directly with the inmates; our goal is to prepare them for life on the outside & break the cycle.

While working in the inner city and poverty stricken communities the founder of still standing saw a need in the homeless community and started an outreach program. Providing food, clothing, hygiene products, helping coordinate meeting for housing assistance, healthcare & mental health needs.

Still Standing is changing one life at time providing tools , resources, and services that help transform lives .
